From paragliding to speedriding: between the skies and the snow

It's not surprising that the Pays du Mont-Blanc Paragliding schools specialise in mountain flying. The instructors share this passion with the public on one of the world's most extraordinary play-grounds. If you feel the urge, start with a two-seater flight to make the most of the extraordinary thrills waiting for you in the clouds!  

And, if you feel the need for speed, try speed riding - the latest craze on the slopes. A pair of skis, a sail and a slope... that's all it takes. Several schools propose maiden flights, initial training and improvement courses. After learning in total safety, you will soon be bounding along at high speed just a few metres above the ground. Thrills guaranteed! Once you become an expert, you can try leaping rock ridges and forests and land back on the trail to ski on down before taking off again. The reference spots for speed riding are off-trail but as this new sport develops the Pays du Mont-Blanc resorts are organizing reserved speed rider spaces to ensure happy landings! You need to be a good skier to try this fun sport - and obviously take lessons in the Pays du Mont-Blanc schools!
